Easy Hot Sauce Recipe
10 oz of Peppers (around 8 Jalapeños or 4 Habañeros or any hot peppers)
1 Small White Onion
3 Cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
In saucepan, cook 2 cups water, 10 oz. of peppers chopped (maybe 8 jalapeños or 4 habañeros) 1 small white onion chopped, 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped, and 1 teaspoon salt on the stovetop.
Variations:
- Roast your peppers first to give your sauce a more smoky flavor.
- Add roasted tomatoes to sweeten and bulk up the sauce
- Add carrots to sweeten and thicken the sauce
- Add other spices: turmeric, curry, oregano... for a twist!
