Homegrown Chile-Garlic Sauce Recipe:
1 Cup Hot Peppers (choose any red peppers* you want, mix and match!)
6-8 cloves garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp sesame oil
2 tablespoon sugar or maple syrup
4 tablespoons white vinegar
Salt and pepper as desired
Add everything to a food processor to process until smooth. Put pepper mix into a small non-reactive pot and heat to simmer for about 10 minutes. Let it cool, then put into a small jar and refrigerate for at least a couple hours before using to let the flavors blend. Now you have a tasty sauce to put on everything!
*Any red peppers work in this recipe, you can even mix red hot peppers and sweet peppers for a less-hot version of this chile-garlic sauce.
