Padron pepper seeds are easy to grow!
In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat with a seedling heat mat for best success, and make sure they're under bright light and kept moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days – the warmer they are the faster they will sprout! Transplant Padron pepper seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Make sure to harden off your seedlings, and wait for until the outdoor temperatures have warmed up to over 60-65˚ F consistently (even at night) before transplanting them in the evening or early morning (don't transplant them in the heat of the day, which can shock them). Plant them directly into rich soil, 24” apart or into large 3 gallon containers. Harvest when full size.
