Jalmundo NuMex - It's back! Extra-large jalapeño developed for America's love of jalapeño popper appetizers. This jumbo jalapeño is bigger and has more heat than the Early Jalapeño. Easy to grow in containers and matures early.
Heavy yields of large meaty jalapeños up to 4" long grow on productive 30” plants. Turns from green to red as it matures. Capsicumannuum (78 days)
In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, and bright light, and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart, or into large 5-gallon containers. Harvest chiles when they are green.
these are great for making poppers because they're so big. Good heat too. All but one seed sprouted, two thumbs up on these seeds!

Reliable germinators
10/10 seeds germinated super-early. First one after only 4 days and all by 8 days. Now they are healthy, 3 inch seedlings. Going into 5 gallon buckets in 2 weeks. Popper heaven coming this summer.
Highly recommended!

Fast Sprouting
These were the fastest sprouting peppers I've ever seen. Used damp paper towels in zip lock bag method. They sprouted in 2 days! Moved them to the starting soil and the first pepper plant emerged 5 days later. Looking forward to growing them and trying these peppers.
