Tasmanian Orange Ghost Pepper Seeds

This pepper has a nice fruity flavor before its ferocious bite arrives. The chances of being attacked by a Tasmanian Ghost are very high after you chew it up swallow it down under. You can't fight back now, and punching the air or your stomach is not going to help anything. Its intense heat will continue to ambush you for over 30 minutes. 

Pods are 2-1/2” long with orange dented skin. The 24” tall plants will produce fruit all season. The aroma and flavor is fruity up front then forget about it! Seeds are originally from Tasmania.  Capsicum chinense (95 days)

In early spring, start seeds indoors 8 weeks prior to warm nightly temperatures. Place the seeds in sterile media and cover 1/4” deep. Provide 85°F bottom heat, bright light and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 30” apart or into large 5 gallon containers. Harvest chiles when they are red and glowing.
