Purple Bhut Jolokia is a very rare pepper, and has a nice sweet flavor with a good burn. Your lips will swell and your tongue will go numb, but you’ll enjoy it! A rare natural variant of the red Bhut Jolokia. These beautiful peppers grow on bushy 30” tall plants.  The pods start out purple with dull skin, then white/pale green and glossy, then turn deep purple and then red with dark blotches at maturity. It has purple flowers and purple tinged stems and leaves. A really exciting pepper to grow!

New Favorite Purple Hot Pepper

These pretty purple peppers are nice and hot and tasty, too! I try to grow as many purple vegetables in my garden as I can, and this super hot pepper is one of my favorites. Good seed germination, robust plants.

Wow, they grew great.

Well.. after failing to get fruit last year their was a plant growing in the corner of the tray and it turned out to be the purple bhut and I was amazed at how it didn't kill the seed or was even their since I clean everything up once a year after the season. They clone really easily and when they do have a good production year, it's quite outstandin

Best Ghost Pepper Seeds

I have grown these for two years and they have become my new favorite hot pepper. Easy to germinate (using a heat mat), they are very prolific. I had a whole countertop full of these beautiful purple ghost peppers each summer. I dry some of them, and make into salsa, and they make a killer fermented hot sauce!

Excellent

I've grown these before from other pepper seed sources, but these were hands down the best for germination. I had about 90% germination last year, plants were productive and healthy.

Great for Farmer's Markets

I grow a lot of super hot peppers to sell at Farmer's Markets and online, and these were my best-seller this year. People love the purple color and the heat and flavor of these peppers. I sold out quick, so I'll be ordering lots more seeds this year to grow more this season! I also wanted to note that these seeds did exceptionally well with germination, nearly every seed sprouted. Thanks!
